D28

Die D28el ist für mich eine der schönsten Wilesco-Dampfmaschinen. Mit 900cm³ Kesselvolumen ist sie ganz nahe an der D32 und bietet mehr als genug Dampfvolumen für das Aggregat, welches von der D20 stammt. Zusammen mit der gesonderten Aggregateplatte und dem separaten Steuerpult ergibt sich ein wirklich tolles Gesamtbild.

Anfang der 1950er soll es die D28 auch in einer Brennstoff-Variante gegeben haben.

For me, the D28el is one of the most beautiful Wilesco steam engines. With 900cm³ of boiler volume, it is very close to the D32 and offers more than enough steam volume for the unit, which comes from the D20. Together with the separate unit plate and the separate control panel, the result is a really great overall picture.
