Das Neuheitenblatt 2025 ist da! Es wird eine spezielle D16 geben und wir dürfen uns auf eine Dampflok freuen!

The 2025 news sheet is here! There will be a special D16 and we can look forward to a steam locomotive!

Dieses Jahr feiert Wilesco "75 Jahre Dampf mit Wilesco". Zu Ehren dieses Jubiläums gibt es eine ganz spezielle Ausführung der D16. Immerhin ist dieses eine der Maschinen, welche seit 1950 in Lüdenscheid produziert werden. Dieses Sondermodell erscheint daher auch in der Farbgebung der ersten Modelle: Messing-Kessel, graue Grundplatte und blaue Zylinder-Verkleidung.

This year Wilesco is celebrating "75 years of steam with Wilesco". In honor of this anniversary there is a very special version of the D16. After all, this is one of the machines that has been produced in Lüdenscheid since 1950. This special model therefore also appears in the color scheme of the first models: brass shell, gray base plate and blue cylinder cladding.

Allerdings ist die Verkleidung nicht einfach nur blau lackiert. Unsere Freunde in Lüdenscheid haben Liebe zum Detail bewiesen und eine glatte Verkleidung anstelle der Aktuellen verbaut. Genau so war das auch bei den ersten Modellen 1950.

However, the fairing is not just painted blue. Our friends in Lüdenscheid have shown attention to detail and installed smooth cladding instead of the current one. That's exactly how it was with the first models in 1950.

Bezüglich der Dampflok müssen wir uns wohl noch etwas gedulden.
