Bernadette bekommt einen Bruder - Bernadette gets a big brother

Ihr erinnert euch bestimmt noch an das kleine Lokomobil "Bernadette", welches ich für meinen Dampffreund Moritz gebaut habe. Optisch inspiriert durch sein originales Lokomobil. Mehr dazu hier.

You probably remember the little locomotive “Bernadette”, which I built for my steam friend Moritz. Visually inspired by his original locomotive. More about that here.

Nur besitzt Moritz nicht nur das große Lokomobil "Bernadette", sondern eine fast noch größere Dampfwalze. Diese war bis vor einiger Zeit bei dem schweizerischen Straßenbauunternehmen Valli im Einsatz. Was musste also passieren? Richtig - eine Wilesco-Valli musste her.

But Moritz not only owns the large locomotive "Bernadette", but also an almost even larger steam roller. This was used by the Swiss road construction company Valli until some time ago. So what had to happen? That's right - a Wilesco-Valli was needed.

Und so ist dann eine entsprechend modifizierte D365 entstanden. Natürlich in den entsprechenden Farben und entsprechender Beschriftung. Da die Walze original ein längeres Dach hat als eine D365, habe ich das Dach einer D409 verwendet und passend gekürzt.

And so a correspondingly modified D365 was created. Of course in the appropriate colors and appropriate labeling. Since the roller originally has a longer roof than a D365, I used the roof of a D409 and shortened it to fit.

Ach ja... wenn man genau hinschaut sieht man hinter der Walze noch etwas stehen. Aber dazu ein anderes Mal...
