Sammlungs-update / update of my collection

Fangen wir mit einer D20el an. Diese Ausführung mit blauer Grundplatte fehlte mir noch in meiner Sammlung.

Let's start with a D20el. I was missing this version with a blue base plate in my Collection.

Von einem Sammler-Kollegen konnte ich einen der seltenen Birkel-Traktoren D40 bekommen. Inklusive der kompletten Dokumentation.

I was able to get one of the rare Birkel D40 tractors from a collector colleague. Including the complete documentation.

Es muss nicht immer selten und alt sein. Die letzte Ausführung der D161 mit der hellblau-farbenen Grundplatte gehört jetzt auch zu der Sammlung.

It doesn't always have to be rare and old. The last version of the D161 with the light blue-colored base plate is now also part of the Collection.

Diese D28 ist dann aber doch wieder alt und selten. Das Besondere ist die Kombination aus aussen verstärkten Ecken an der Grundplatte (bis ca. 1955) und den vernickelten Bauteilen (Kesselverkleidung, Zylinderabdeckung,..). Bislang habe ich aussen verstärkte Ecken immer nur in Verbindung mit Messing-Bauteilen an der Maschine gesehen.

This D28 is old and rare again. The special feature is the combination of externally reinforced corners on the base plate (until approx. 1955) and the nickel-plated components (boiler cladding, cylinder cover, ..). So far I have only ever seen reinforced corners on the outside in connection with brass components on the machine..

Dies ist eine extrem frühe D20. Diese hat nicht nur die Grundplatte mit der alten Grundplatte und den Messing-Bauteilen. Das absolut Besondere ist das massive Schwungrad. Dieses ist ein Zeichen der anfänglichen Produktion bei Wilesco 1950. Maschinen von HGL hatten dieselben Schwungräder.

This is an extremely early D20. This not only has the base plate with the old base plate and the brass components. The massive flywheel is absolutely special. This is a sign of the initial production at Wilesco in 1950. HGL machines had the same flywheels.

Nachdem ich meine D24 mit blauer Grundplatte für eine meiner Eigenkreationen genommen hatte, musste wieder Ersatz her.

After using my D24 with a blue base plate for one of my own creations, I had to replace it.

Eine weitere D16 der ersten Serie habe ich auch noch gefunden.

I also found another D16 out of the first series.

Auch meine Reihe der D32 konnte ich nach unten hin erweitern. So ist eine D32 aus den 1960/70ern mit grauer Grundplatte dazugekommen.

I was also able to expand my range of D32s downwards. A D32 from the 1960s / 70s with a gray base plate was added.

Eine D32 der ersten Serie komplettiert nun auch endlich die Reihe der D32 in meiner Sammlung.

A D32 from the first series finally completes the D32 series in my Collection.

Eine der letzten Ausführung der D5 hat sich nun auch in meine Sammlung verirrt.

One of the last Version of the D5 also found its way into my collection.

Und auch die Sterling-Reihe wurde erweitert: ich habe endlich eine H100.

Also the row of Sterling-engines got more complete: I got a H100.

Und auch die zweite Variante des großen Sterling-Motors habe ich bekommen können: der H110.

Ein anderes "Glanzstück" ist eine weitere D106. Dieses Mal ist es die frühere Version mit Abdampf auf die Kondensschale.

Another "highlight" is another D106. This time it is the earlier version with exhaust steam on the condensation tray.

Eine weitere D45 ist dazu gekommen. Das besondere hier: die frühe Variante, jedoch mit Uni-Blau lackierter grundplatte und nicht das übliche Blau-Metallic.

Another D45 has been added. The special feature here: the early version, but with a base plate painted in plain blue and not the usual blue metallic..

Eine weitere D36. Ich habe diese von einem Freund bekommen, der diese 1966 als Kind geschenkt bekommen hat. Somit eine D36 aus dem ersten Baujahr. Das weisse Lenkrad ist jedoch nicht mehr original.

Another D36. I got this from a friend who got it as a child in 1966. Thus a D36 from the first year of construction. However, the white steering wheel is no longer original.

Es fehlte mir noch eine D22 mit Abdampf durch den Kamin. Diese habe ich bereits letztes Jahr auf der Modellbaumesse in Friedrichshafen gekauft.

I was still missing a D22 with exhaust steam through the chimney. I bought this last year at the model fair in Friedrichshafen.

Bei dieser D24 aus der ersten Serie handelt es sich wieder um eine ganz frühe Variante. Zu erkennen an dem massiven Schwungrad wie bei den HGL-Maschinen.

This D24 from the first series is again a very early variant. Recognizable by the massive flywheel as in the HGL machines.

Und ich habe ein weiteres Lokomobil D430 aus der ersten Serie gefunden. Dieses wird mir wohl als Basis dienen, um den Wilesco-Prototypen nachzubauen.

And I found another D430 locomobile from the first series. This will probably serve as a basis for me to recreate the Wilesco prototype.

Meine bisherige D409 ist eine aus der Sonderserie der ersten 300 gefertigten Maschinen. Daher freue ich mich über diese zusätzliche D409 letzter Serie.

Die große Schnburlaufrolle muss ich mal ersetzen....

My previous D409 is one of the special series of the first 300 machines. So I'm happy about this additional D409 from the last series.

Da HGL als Vorläufer von Wilesco gilt, war ich froh dieses Exemplar bekommen zu können.

Since HGL is considered to be the forerunner of Wilesco, I was happy to get this machine.

Eine weitere HGL, allerdings kleiner als die Vorherige.
