eine neue D161

Wilesco stellte die neue D161 im Februar auf der spielwarenmesse in Nürnberg als Neuheit vor. Und nun endlich habe ich auch eine davon.

Wilesco presented the new D161 as a novelty in February at the toy fair in Nuremberg. And finally I have one of them too..

Mitte der 1960er Jahre wurde die D161 in das Wilesco-Programm aufgenommen. Damals zeitgenössisch mit grauer Grundplatte und blauer zylinder-Verkleidung. Als Modelle wurden damals die Kreissäge M53, der Schleifbock M52 und der Betonmischer M 63 verbaut. Auch diese Modelle waren natürlich in der damaligen Farbgebung mit grauem Sockel.

Ca 1970 wurde dann die D161 ebenfalls auf das neue Farbschema umgestellt: blaue Grundplatte, schwarze Zylinder-Verkleidung, grüner Sockel bei den Antriebsmodellen und der Mischer nun in Orange.

Ca 1982 wurde die d161 nochmals geändert. Der Mischer M63 wurde durch die Bohrmaschine M51 ersetzt und die Sockel der Antriebsmodelle wurde blau-metallic. In dieser Form wurde die Maschine dann bis Mitte 2019 nahezu unverändert gebaut.

Ca 1982, the d161 was changed again. The mixer M63 was replaced by the drill M51 and the pedestal of the drive models became blue metallic. In this form, the machine was then built almost unchanged until the middle of 2019.

Im Jahr 2018 hat Wilesco dann angefangen über eine neue D161 nachzudenken. Als erster Prototyp entstand eine D161, welche "nur" eine Winkeltransmission und einen Schmiedehammer M58 enthielt. Man wollte hiermit hauptsächlich auf das Thema "Mechanik" abzielen und die Umwandlung und Umlenkung der Dampf-Energie in mechanische Energie demonstrieren.

In 2018 Wilesco started to think about a new D161. The first prototype was a D161, which contained "only" an angular transmission and a forging hammer M58. The main focus was on mechanics and demonstrating the conversion and redirection of steam energy into mechanical energy.

Man hat sich dann in Lüdenscheid nach einigen Diskussionen doch dafür entschieden auch das Thema "Elektrizität" in die neue D161 aufzunehmen. So wurde ein Generator mit Laterne M66/2 integriert.

After some discussions in Lüdenscheid, it was decided to include the subject of electricity in the new D161. So a generator with lantern M66 / 2 was integrated.

Die Ergänzung der M66/2 passt auch zeitlich sehr gut! Eine weitere Neuheit 2019 ist eine Änderung an der Elektronik der Lampe. Daher ist jetzt schon bei weniger Drehzahl des Generators genug Leistung da, um die Lampe zu erleuchten.
