ein Prototyp-Anhänger / prototype of a trailer

Nachdem Wilesco den Dampf-Lkw D310 in 2013 ins Programm aufgenommen hatte, gab es in Lüdenscheid die Idee auch für dieses Modell einen Anhänger anzubieten.

After introduction of the D310 in 2013 the guys in Lüdenscheid had the idea to create a  trailer for that.

Hierzu wurde das Fahrwerk des Wasserwagens genomen, eine Breite Achse mit den Vorderrädern des D310 verbaut und ein zum D310 passender Holzaufbau darauf gesetzt.

To realize that trailer they took the base of a water-cart, put a wider axle including D310- frontwheels into it and built a wooden body on top so that it fits perfectly to the D310.

Somit ergibt sich dann eine eigentlich sehr gut passende Kombination. Der Prototyp wurde dann auf einer Messe gezeigt, um die Nachfrage zu testen. Leider war die Resonanz offenbar nicht so gut, denn es blieb bei diesem Einzelstück.

In total this leads to a quite interesting combination. This protptype then was shown on a toy fair to get some feedback on that trailer. Unfortunatly the feedback was not as expected and the series production was not started. So this one is the only existing model of that.
