Ich habe noch ein weiteres Werbe-Modell der D6 gefunden!

I found another advertisment variant of the D6!

Wilesco's D6 ist sicherlich die am meisten für Werbezwecke verwendete Dampfmaschine. Jetzt habe ich ein solches Exemplar gefunden, welche von der Fa. Alstom und/oder Babcock Borsig in Auftrag gegeben worden ist.

The D6 is probably the most used steam engine for advertisment. Now I found one, which was made for the company Alstom and/or Babcock Borsig.

Die Maschine ist wunderschön komplett in der Farbkombination Schwarz-Kupfer-Nickel gehalten.

The wonderful colo scheme of this model is completely black-cupper-nickel.

Zur Dokumentation des Anlasses wurde vorne an den Sockel ein Kupferschild angeklebt. Dieses zeigt auf der linken Seite das Logo der Fa.Alstom....

For documentation of the occasion a cupper plate is mounted on the front of the engine. Thsi shows the logo of Alstom on the left side....

... in der Mitte der genauere Anlass: eine Druckprobenfeier im Kraftwerk Niederaußem am 08.11.2001.

... in the middle part it shows more details of the occasion: it was because of some druck pressure tests in the power plant Niederaußem on November 8th 2011.

... auf der rechten Seite findet sich dann noch der Name der Firma Babcock Borsig Power. Alstom und BCP haben damals wohl an dem Bau des Kraftwerkes zusammen gearbeitet.

Geliefert wurde dieses Modell allerdings in einer ganz normalen Verpackung der D6.

There was no special box for this model. It was just delivered in an original D6 box.

Mit dem Bau des Blocks K (RWE-Bezeichnung BoA = „Braunkohlekraftwerk mit optimierter Anlagentechnik“) am Kraftwerk Niederaußem entstand zwischen 1997 und 2002 der damals modernste Braunkohlenkraftwerksblock der Welt mit einer Wärmeleistung von 2.306 Megawatt, elektrischen Bruttoleistung von 1.027 Megawatt (950 MW netto) und einem elektrischen Wirkungsgrad von 43 %, der damit wesentlich höher als bei älteren Anlagen ist (im Bereich 31-35 %). RWE investierte in den Bau 1,2 Mrd. Euro. Die offizielle Indienststellung des neuen Blocks fand im Sommer 2002 statt. Im Beisein des damaligen NRW-Ministerpräsidenten Wolfgang Clement und des Bundeskanzlers Gerhard Schröder ging das neue Kraftwerk ans Netz. (Quelle Wikipedia)
