D6 BMW gefunden - found a D6 BMW

Die D6 ist wohl das Wilesco-Modell, welches für die meisten Sondermodelle genutzt wurde. So hat auch der Automobil-Hersteller BMW eine Sonderserie anfertigen lassen.

The D6 is probably the Wilesco-engine which was used most to create special versions. In fact the car-manufacturer BMW also assigned Wilesco to produce one special version.

Diese Ausführung kommt in den bayrischen Nationalfarben blau-weiß daher. Die Farbgebung ist aber nur eine der Besonderheiten.

The color-scheme of this version comes along in the bavarian national colors blue and white. But the color-scheme is only one of the two special things of this engine.

Diese Version der D6 wurde zur Einführung des BMW-Modells 740d angefertigt. Auf der weißen Verpackung war daher auch ein dies bezüglicher Text aufgedruckt. Der Ausspruch "Dampf unter der Haube" verdeutlicht dann auch, warum BMW eine Dampfmaschine ausgesucht hat.

This version of the D6 was ordered by BMW because of the introduction of their new model 740d. Because of that the model came in a white box with a text stating similarities between a steam engine and the 740d. The description "lots of comph under the bonnet" explains, why BMW choosed a steam engine.

Das Modell 740d wurde bei BMW im Typ E38 im Jahre 1999 eingeführt. Somit sollte diese D6 aus dem selben Jahr stammen.
