Tut mir leid, dass ich die letzten Wochen nichts Neues berichten konnte. Das war weniger, weil es nichts zu berichten gab, sondern weil ich doch beruflich recht beschäftigt war.

Sorry for not posting anything new within the last weeks. That was not because of nothing to report, but because I was so busy in my job.
Allerdings hat sich dennoch etwas getan in meiner Sammlung. Es ist eine doch recht alte D28 hinzugekommen.

But my collection was joined by an old D28 in the meanwhile.
Es ist zwar nicht die absolut älteste Variante, da der Kessel bereits vernickelt ist. Allerdings weist das runde Logo doch auf ein Baujahr innerhalb der 1950-er hin.

As this one already has a nickel-plated boiler it is not the oldest version, but very close to. This is shown by the round Wilesco-Logo and I assume it is out of the 1950's somewhere.
Zu dem ist die Maschine noch mit dem alten braunen Bakalit-Dynamo ausgestattet.

In addition this one has the old brown bakalit generator mounted.
Die Maschine kam absolut komplett bei mir an. Die Kondenswasserschale und auch die Dampfpfeife mit Gewicht sind vorhanden und in tadellosem Zustand.

The D28 arrived in an absolute complete condition. The aluminium condenswater tray and the original whistle including the weight show up as new.
Sogar die originale Bedienungsanleitung war noch dabei. Und diese sogar hinter Glas.

Even the original manual was included and safely stored behind glas.
In Summe eine absolut tolle Maschine.

In total this one is just great.
