Mein "Recycling-Projekt" verändert sich in einen aufwändigen Neu-Aufbau.
Part 1
Aus verschiedenen anderen Projekten und Quellen habe ich nun einige Wilesco Bauteile übrig: Der Kessel und das Aggregat einer Wilesco-Feuerwehr D305, die Bodenplatte einer alten D20 und eine alte Transmission.

Out of different other projects and sources some Wilesco parts remained unused so far: Boiler and engine of a Wileco firefighter-engine D305, the base of an old D20 and an old tranmission setup.
Da habe ich mir gedacht, das alles mal in einem anderen setup zusammen zu bringen.

So I thought to arrange all of that in a different setup.
Das wird zwar eine Menge Arbeit, wird aber - glaube ich - ganz hübsch ausschauen.

It is going to be a lot of work. But I think it will look quite nice at the end is worth to go for.

Part 2
Oh man, die Löcher der alten Grundplatte zu schließen wurde zu einem echten Alptraum. Kriege es einfach nicht eben hin. Da musste halt eine neue her....

Oh boy, to close the wholes in the old base became a nightmare. I did not manage to keep it flat and smooth.So I had to get a new one....
Ein Bekannter hat es tatsächlich fertig gebrachte eine Grundplatte zu fertigen, welche aussieht, als käme diese direkt von Wilesco.

A friend managed it to produce a base which really looks like original Wilesco.
Somit kann allerdings von einem "Recycling-Projekt" keine Rede mehr sein. Und wenn schon, dann richtig: so habe ich jetzt noch einen Speisewasserpumpe und einen Tank von einem Wasserwagen ergänzt.

With that effort my "Recycling-Project" turned into a new build-up. And if I spend more effort, then in the right way: I decided to put a water feeding pump and an additional water tank into my setup.
Aber ein selbst nachfüllender Brenner und ein Kessel mit Speisepumpe klingt eigentlich nach viel Spaß, oder?

Part 3
Das gute Stück ist zwar noch nicht ganz fertig, aber es ist eine großen Schritt weiter gegangen. Nun ist die Grundplatte lackiert, alle Aggregate befestigt und die Leitungen sind verlegt.

It is not 100% ready, but I made a big step forward. The base is painted, all parts are fixed and the piping is done.
Der Kessel hat eine 4. Öffnung bekommen, sodass Dampfleitung, Wasserleitung, Manometer und Sicherheitsventil eingeschraubt werden können.

The boiler got a fourth thread so that steam pipe, water pipe, gauge and safety valve can be mounted.
Der Tank des Wasserwagens wurde komplett integriert und dient nun zur Speisung der Wasserpumpe.

The tank of the water cart got fully integrated and feeds the water pump.
Das moderne Rad des Ventiles gefiel mir nicht. Da habe ich lieber eines mit einer runden Kontur verbaut.

I did not like the current shape of the wheel on the valve. So I used another one with the round shape.
Das Aggregat der Feuerwehr passt sehr gut in das Modell. Die Welle der Transmission muss aber noch gegen eine Messing-Welle getauscht werden.

The engine of the D305 Fire-Engine fits quite well in the whole setup. But the shaft of the transmission still needs to be replaced by a brass one.
Die Speisepumpe wird aus dem extra Tank mit Wasser versorgt und drückt das Wasser durch eine separate Leitung in den Kessel.

The feeding pump is fed by the extra water tank and presses the water into the boiler by an extra pipe.
Der Brenner dient aktuell nur als Platzhalter. Den dafür vorgesehenen Brenner muss ich erst noch bauen. Und dann folgt auch der erste Testlauf.

The shown meth burner right now is only a placeholder. The final burner I still have to built. And after that the first testrun will follow.
Part 2
Nun ist das gute Stück fertig. Mit der Nachspeiseleitung gab es noch ein paar Probleme, welche jetzt aber gelöst sind.

Now the nice mashine is ready. I had some issues with the refilling line, but all had been resolved..
Bislang fehlte noch die Abdampfleitung. Diese ist jetzt ergänzt und geht vom Aggregat durch die Bodenplatte und hat den Ausgang vorne rechts.

Until now the pipe for the outcoming steam was missing. Now this is also solved. The pipe goes from the mashine underneath the bases and has an Output on the right side of the bases..
Die Maschine ist jetzt rechtzeitig für das Dampftreffen in Friedrichshafen fertig geworden. Den Testlauf werde ich erst danach durchführen.

The seatm engine not got finished right in time for the steam event in Friedrichshafen. The first run will happen after that.
