Dampftraktor in grün/rot - traction engine in green/red color

Offenbar hat es den Dampftraktor D405 auch in der Ausführung grün/rot analog zu den Dampfwalzen gegeben.

Obviously the traction engine was also available in color-combination green/red, same as the roller.

Anfang 2015 ist in den Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika der links abgebildete Dampftraktor zum Verkauf angeboten worden. Das besondere dieses Modelles ist die Farbgebung analog der Dampfwalzen in grün/rot.

Beginning of 2015 the traction engine shown on the left was offered for sale in the US. The interesting thing about that engine is the collor code with green/red body and wheels, same as the roller.

Allerdings wurde offenbar schon der Vorgänger D40 in den USA auch in den Farben grün/rot angeboten. So wird er in einem Prospekt eines amerikanischen Spielwarenhändlers aus dem Jahre 1977 "with red/green body" beschrieben.

Obviously also the predeccdessor called D40 was sold in the uS in green/red color. The advertisment of a toy-shop in the US out of 1977 describes the traction engine "with red/green body".
